Why do I see reference number on my loan statement?

A reference number is the unique identifier for your specific loan with Jeeves. This reference number allows us to identify that loan on our system. The reference number enables you to indicate to us which product you are making the payment towards. One customer may have multiple loans with Jeeves and each one of them will have a unique reference number.

Where should I put my reference Number when making a loan payment?

You can enter the reference number in your bank’s payment submission form, either in the notes, description, or message field.

What happens if I forget to put my reference number when making a loan payment?

If we don’t find the loan reference ID on your payment, Jeeves will apply the payment to the earliest payment due across all products you have with Jeeves. If there are no payments that is past due, we will apply the unreferenced payment amount to the product with the nearest upcoming due date. Not adding your reference number when making a loan payment could delay your payment being applied to your remaining loan balance, which could result in late fees.

If I’m on AutoPay, which day of the month should I expect to see the payment made to my account?

You should expect for the payment amount to be withdrawn automatically each month on the payment due date. Withdrawals will happen between Monday and Friday of the month, except for national bank holidays.
